Double Edge Safety Razor Set with Brush, with olive wood Handles

Shaving set that includes a brass plated double edge safety razor and a silvertip badger brush, both with figured olive wood handles. A chrome razor and brush stand completes the set. Both handles have a durable acrylic topcoat so they easily wipe dry after use. The razor hardware is brass plated giving it a gold like color. Razor blade will be included in the razor and there is an additional pack of 5 blades included. Chris uses these exact blades on a daily basis and has been very happy with the shave he gets. For $30 on Amazon, Chris is able to get 300 blades to keep him shaving for a VERY long time (roughly 2 years if he only uses each side of the blade 1 time -- which he doesn't). Combined with a decent shaving soap, the cost of having a smooth shave is extremely cheap with this set. The razor is 4 1/4 inches in length. The shaving brush's overall height is approximately 4 3/4 inches. The handle is about 1 1/4 inch across and 2 3/4 inches in length. The knot has a 20 mm base, and and its height is about 67 mm. The knot is securely epoxied into the handle for many years of use. It is not uncommon for a few hairs to fall out each week. Chris has been using his first brush for almost 5 years and it still looks very good. We buy the components for the razor as a kit from a woodturning supplier, not a razor manufacturer. That supplier has not provided us with specifics about the head's manufacturing or the handle's interchangeability with other heads. However, a few of our previous customers have told us that our handles have worked well with Edwin Jagger and Muhle heads that they have purchased elsewhere.
